Hyundai Palisade Is Called Back Due To Valve Springs That May Puncture An Engine Hole

Out of the roughly 4,000 SUVs included in the recall for the 2024 model year, just 1% most likely contain the potentially dangerous valve springs.

A fresh recall has been issued for more than 4,000 Hyundai Palisades from the 2024 model year because of defective valve springs that have the potential to shatter.

The worry is that if the valve springs fail, they can possibly produce a hole in the engine block,

even though this problem is probably only affecting 1% of the recall population.

The Palisade is only available in the United States with a 3.8-liter V6 engine that generates 291 horsepower.
